How to Use
How to Use
- Once your candle is delivered, allow for it to reach room temperature before you light it. If the wax is too cold it can affect the burn, resulting in tunnelling.
- Make sure the first burn is at least 2 hours long, but try to avoid burning it for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Allow for the wax pool to have melted all the way to the edge, before extinguishing. This will prevent the tunnelling effect.
- Please trim the wick, this provides an even burn, we suggest keeping the wick at around 10mm (depending on the size of the candle).
- Ensure there is no dirt or debris sitting on the wax, this can affect the flame and/or cause unnecessary smoke.
- Keep out of direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children and animals.
- Do not leave burning unattended.
- If on skin, rinse immediately with soapy water - it may cause an allergic skin reaction.

I love the packaging and the variety of scents that are included. I’m not the biggest fan of the orange and cinnamon scents during Christmas, but I am not most people and I think most enjoy that fragrance. I will be placing another order soon. Lovely, thank you. Linda

Ordered these melts to try as I love traditional fragrance rather than the usual super sweet Christmas fragrance. I haven’t used the Forest fragrance yet, and reluctant to as it smells strongly like Vic vapour rub. Nothing wrong with Vics rub but not as a wax melt! Melted the Crackling Fire melt and could barely smell it at all. So wanted to love these as the packaging is great and the delivery and communication was fab. Will try the Vics melt but would rather my home not smell like I have the flu. Maybe the chestnut melt will be stronger. So sorry 🥺
Oh wow—this is definitely not the kind of review any small business owner who pours their heart and energy into their work wants to receive on a Sunday morning! But honestly, thank you for your feedback—it’s so important to us, even when it stings a little or shocks our socks off...
We’re really sorry that the melts didn’t hit the mark for you. We use 12% fragrance(natural) in all our wax melts, which is a strength our regular customers rave about, but it sounds like Crackling Fire didn’t perform as expected in this case. We’d be happy to refund you for that —just send us your bank details, and we’ll get that sorted straight away.
As for Whispering Forest, we totally understand how it might come across a bit differently, if you’re more familiar with synthetic fragrances. Natural essential oils have their own unique vibe, and while some people fall in love with that crisp freshness, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Our 20 testers all seemed to experience the same during our final scent test for WF - calling it 'buttery peppermint', 'a crisp woodland pine forest', 'creamy smooth mint forest' eeek never vics vapour I guess that's what makes scent so unique.
That said, maybe burn the Whispering Forest for a day when you’re feeling under the weather—it might just clear the sinuses and double as a great excuse to breathe deep and relax.
